Which High Schools have the Most Asians?

fbtwtr

In preparation for the inaugural launch of the TYP Scholarship, we spent time examining what the Asian American high school experience looked like across the United States. Between 1988 and 2017, the national percentage of Asian Americans in high schools more than doubled from 1.8% to 3.93%. Below, we quantify the "Asian-ness" of high schools across two dimensions: "Total Asian American Enrollment" and "% Asian Americans." Where does your high school experience fit in?

*Note: The following data is based on ELSI 2016-2017 school year public enrollment data. The following filters are applied: schools must have greater than 200 students total and cannot be an alternative education, special education, or virtual school.
